Claude was the first generous supporter of the Jewish Sports Hall of Fame of Northern California, allowing us to craft and erect our permanent presence at the Palo Alto Jewish Community Center, for which we are eternally grateful. Claude lettered in baseball and basketball at Lowell High School, played baseball at Stanford, and won a bronze medal in seniors doubles at the Maccabiah Games. Claude was a board member of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA), a national nonprofit with the mission to transform the culture of youth sports so that young athletes may have a positive, character-building experience.
