Christina leads inclusion and diversity efforts across the organization as well as the team’s internships, fellowships and oversees the recruiting and hiring for the team. “Diversity in corporate leadership is essential to ensuring that organizations are making decisions that are in the best interest of the people they serve,” says Jefferson, a member of Congregation Sherith Israel in San Francisco. Prior to joining the 49ers, Jefferson spent six years with Sephora. Helping people of diverse backgrounds reach their professional potential and feel included in the workplace – a form of social justice.
